Q.How many of these can be put into a single room without being harmful?
A.

We do not have a limit on the number of bait stations that may be placed in a room, however, in most cases only one bait station is needed. The ingredients for this bait are water, sugar, and borax.

Q.Is this safe around a house pet like a budgie
A.

The ingredients of this product are sugar, water, and borax (a naturally found mineral). We recommend keeping the product out of reach of children and pets.

Q.I am trying terro liquid ant baits for carpenter ants that have got inside my home. They were inside the traps last and again this morning. Is this a good bait for carpenter ants and if not what would you recommend for inside home use to get rid of them?
A.

We do not recommend this product for capenter ants, and suggest using one of our contact killing sprays for this type of infestation.

Q.Is the product nontoxic? I placed it on the counter top, Will it be harmful to human being?
A.

This bait is made of water, sugar, and borax. It can be placed on a counterop. Borax is a naturally occurring mineral found in many common household items such as hand soaps and detergents.

Q.Before I place these baits outside. Are the liquid bait stations waterproof? We have a ton of ants in our backyard and our sprinklers are on a timer during the night/early morning.
A.

For outdoor ant control, we recommend trying TERRO® Outdoor Liquid Ant Bait Stakes (T1812). This product contains the same effective Ant Bait but comes sheltered in a plastic station in order to protect it from the elements.

Q.Do the liquid ant baits help with carpenter ants at all? I've seen one or two in our home on most days
A.

We do not recommend using the liquid ant bait for carpenter ants as they are not usually interested in sweet foods.

Q.I have a large group of ants that shoed up in my shed on a unpainted wood shelf. The are under some plastic sheets. I placed the traps under and besides the plastic where the ants were and a few days later it looked like the traps were almost empty but the liquid was now fanned out on the shelf from the traps opening. Like a large puddle as if I tipped the traps and the liquid spilled out. The ants appear to be eating it still. Did the ants somehow pull the out of the and bait trap?

It is unlikely that the ants tipped the bait station enough to spill the bait.

Q.Are these indoor liquid ant traps safe to use on the floor if you have 2 older cats ???
A.

When used as directed, this product is safe to use around pets.
