What Is a Stink Bug Anyway?
Stink bugs were first spotted in the U.S. in Allentown PA. Since then, the invasive species has spread to 42 states and two Canadian provinces. Stink bugs are aptly named, referring to the defensive scent glands located on the underbelly of the insects. When frightened or smashed, the bugs release a foul smell.
Crack and Crevice Treatment:
- Hold the aerosol can upright and tilt extension tube to a 90° angle with can.
- Place injection tip ½ inch into cracks and crevices where insects may be hiding, living and breeding.
- Release a one-second spray per spot.
- In serious infestations, if possible, place spots approximately 12 inches apart.
- In light infestations or for preventative treatment, place spots approximately three feet apart.
- In long running cracks, move the injector tip along the crack while spraying. Move at the rate of one linear foot per second in heavy infestations and three feet per second in light infestation.
Treating Outside Surfaces With Stink Bug Aerosol Spray:
- Spray foundation of the home or building where insects are active and may find entrance up to a height of two to three feet.
- Apply as a residual spray to outside surfaces of buildings where insects tend to congregate. Typical spray areas include screens, window frames, eaves, porches, patios, garages and refuse dumps.

Review RateYou've saved us thousands of dollars!!!
First, let me tell you, we own a hybrid camper. That's a hardshell camper with the canvas/tent ends that lay down to make a bed. I have been fighting stink bugs in this camper for several years. When my husband got our camper out of storage and backed it up the driveway...there were so many stink bugs in the camper that we had to leave the door open for over 8 hours just so that I could get inside to clean it. I am not someone afraid of bugs...there were just SO MANY!!! I also am OCD about cleaning...so, hence my problem with the stink bugs. I told my husband that we were going to get another camper and that I had had enough of this problem. Instead, I went online and ordered several cans of the Terro Stink Bug Killer. I KNEW this stuff wasn't going to work as we had tried several other supposed stink bug killers, traps and everything. I cleaned the camper and sprayed an entire can inside and another can outside the camper. Imagine my excitement as we opened the door the next day and found only two live stink bugs and over 50 dead ones. (Where do these things come from????) I am so happy! This stuff WORKS!!! I am sharing my empty cans with everyone in our campground that has a camper with canvas on it...stink bugs LOVE canvas for some reason. Thank you, Terro! You have saved us thousands of dollars!!!!
Review RateGreat product that works well in the Indiana area
I found the Terro stink bug product last year. I sprayed the perimeter of my garage door including floor at entrance & didn't have any more in the garage. Those that were in the garage died when trying to get out. I also sprayed my sliding door frame where stink bugs like to hibernate in winter. I like the small sprayer to spray window frames where they also hibernate over the winter. I use all Terro products & have great success.
Review RateWorks well!
Sprayed around the window sills and doors and was skeptical at first but after a week I have not seen one bug. Hopefully they have moved on from my house for good!
Review RateReally worksI have used Terra products before. This product is the only one I have used to kill stink bugs with one squirt. I can't say enough good things about it.
Review Ratedoesn't work
I bought this at Tractor Supply and it doesn't work. It says on the label kills on contact. After multiple sprays on them they fly away. Wasted $10. It also says to spray around house, doors, etc. I did that and they landed right on sprayed area. Very disappointed in this product.Response From Terro®Tara : Consumer Relations Representative

Review RateGreat for fast killI spray this stuff on the window sills under my 30 ft high chalet windows...it kills most that go to the daylight during the day.....then I go outside and spray around windows and doors....it is the most effective and least smelly spray we have found on the market...great product..especially when you have a large infestation like we do....they live in the woods by the millions so we will never eradicate them sadly!!
Review RateGreat productI used this on porch and around Windows and screens where stink bugs were sunning themselves and getting into our home. The number has been reduced almost 85%. Now we just sweep up dead ones.
Review RateGreat ProductI was catching hundreds of stinkbugs per day in my store's front windows. Used this product and I haven't seen a single bug since. I tried dozens of things and this is the only one that was effective. Amazing... I highly recommend this.
Review RateAmazon ReviewI sprayed this around my windows and it did help decrease the number of bugs that came into my home. They are relentless critters and it takes perseverance to keep them at bay. I don't think anything will totally eliminate them, but this certainly helped.
