Very disappointed. I live in New Mexico, high desert with many ants. I applied along my fence line where there's a lot of ant activity. Followed instructions on package to lightly wet after applying. Had absolutely no effect on the ants.

This granule product works by targeting ants that come into direct contact with it as they move through treated areas. After exposure, it typically takes up to 24 hours for affected ants to die, and it will not impact ants that do not walk over the treated zone.
We understand how frustrating heavy ant activity can be, especially in high-desert conditions, and we appreciate you giving the product a try. We’ll also share your comments with our product team.

This product is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!
It works wonders..I am ESTATC how well it works.. I put this in my yard over top of The Rocks, it was many types of bugs crawling throughout it...NEXT DAY I don't see any ANTS.
I don't see different types of bugs NOTHING!!.
I DID SEE a few dead water bugs too!
Product works BEAUTIFULLY, definitely has my vote , and will be buying again!

New bag this spring. It’s had no effect on several ant colonies in my yard. I’m in central WI.

We're sorry to hear that you did not see the expected results.
For best performance, apply TERRO® Ant Killer Plus directly around and over active ant mounds and along ant trails when the ground is dry. Avoid watering the treated area or applying before rain, as moisture can reduce effectiveness. Large or established colonies may require a repeat application according to the label directions. Applying in the early morning or late afternoon when ants are actively foraging can also improve results.

Vivo en barriada, todos tienen mascotas y jardín. Pero las plagas vienen a mi casa y de paso las hormigas cosechadoras rojas colonizaron mi patio. Compré Terro Plus y cuando la señora no estuvo use todo el paquete en el jardín y le dí un buen remojon. Tengo la costumbre de darme una ducha relámpago cuando uso plaguicidas y al salir no pude ver ni una sola hormiga. Antes de usar el Terro Plus tenía vías de 4 carriles de hormigas. Quede Estupefacto ????. Las erradico en menos de 30 minutos. Nunca vi un producto tan eficaz. Mi esposa está feliz, le habían arrasado casi todo. Gracias.

I'm not sure what type of ant was in my house but there were small amounts of what looked like sawdust (frass) where they were spotted. If they were carpenter ants they weren't the larger black variety. I purchased a bag of TERRO Ant Killer Plus and applied it where the ants were outside of my house, and I haven't seen any more ants or frass since.

BRILLIANT DESIGN! I don't have to transfer to a broadcast spreader. Just shake and go! First time using sodont have an idea of effectiveness. But someone had a great idea with the shaker bag!
Toss granules under your house if you have no basement. Works!

I had a bad ant infestation and the liquid baits did not work. Treating the perimeter did not work. I have no basement. The ants had moved in under my house, probably to get away from the rain. I opened the crawl space access points outside and with a scoop I tossed the granules under the house trying to get all the space covered. Worked like a charm! I never had to repeat the process. One and done. Thanks Terro!
Spray doesn’t work. Liquid baits work great.

Spray doesn’t work. The liquid ant baits are great. They take a few days and you see a lot more ants in the beginning but then they are gone in area being treated. Can’t say about outdoor grains that you shake around foundation. Have to time treatment with rainy days which isn’t so convenient.
This ant killer has not ... worked to kill the ants in my yard.

This ant killer has not worked for me. I have treated the area at least a dozen times. The ants are gone for a day and then right back.

Thank you for this feedback. We're sorry to hear that the desired outcome was not achieved with this product. It will only help control ants that crawl through the treated area. If ants are continuing to swarm, we recommend additional methods of control such as baiting.
