Do you have an ant problem, but just can’t seem to find the perfect spot to place your ant bait? With TERRO® Multi-Surface Liquid Ant Baits, you can place bait stations almost anywhere! The unique, multi-surface application allows you to lay them flat or adhere them to surfaces around your home. Simply use the included adhesive strips to place the pre-filled, ready-to-use bait stations on walls, under cabinets and a variety of other locations where they won’t be in the way. This convenient feature will also help to keep the bait stations out of reach of children and pets.
Where to Place Multi-Surface Ant Baits
Place TERRO® Multi-Surface Liquid Ant Baits near ant trails and other locations where ants are numerous. It’s also a good idea to stop ants in their tracks by placing bait stations anywhere insects may try to enter your home. The multi-surface design provides flexibility with your placement options, including on walls, kick plates and counter tops.
Two-Color Design: Camouflage Your Ant Bait
Multi-Surface Ant Baits feature a discreet, two-color design. This innovation allows the baits to blend in with your existing décor so you won’t even notice they are there. Just choose the color that blends in best with the spot you are placing it – either white or brown – then apply the adhesive strip to the opposite side.
How Does Ant Bait Work
Since this is a bait, initially you will see more ants – but don’t worry, this is a good thing. Why? As ants forage for food, they are easily attracted to the sweet liquid inside the bait stations. After finding the bait, worker ants consume it and leave behind a pheromone trail leading back to the colony. This trail lets other worker ants know where the newly discovered food supply is. This is why you will see more ants in the beginning.
Meanwhile, the active ingredient is slowly interfering with the ant’s digestive system, ultimately killing it, but leaving enough time for the ant to go back and share the dose with the rest of the colony. This slow kill is necessary so that foraging ants can make several trips to the bait, allowing you to get rid of both the ants you see and the ants you don’t.
Baits Stay Fresh
Multi-Surface Ant Baits are sealed until you’re ready to use them. First, choose the perfect location for your ant bait. Next, twist off the tab to open up the bait. If needed, adhere the bait station with the included sticky tape. Remember: Until the tab is pulled off, the liquid bait inside stays fresh!

Why fix it when it ...

Why fix it when it wasn’t broke…. Like all the other reviews this new poorly design multi surface baits are useless. The adhesive is NON EXISTENT. The older design allowed you to blend with a light color or dark walls, was made of hard case that secured the plastic bait container. It also came with 3M style strips. This new design is cheap water bottle plastic and it’s impossible to remove the strip to expose the sticky surface. The multi surface function allowed for me to place it upright to keep the solution from spilling on my floors causing a sticky mess. Now I have to lay it flat if I even use them at all. Not only is it a cheaper, flimsy design, there is less product in each bait. The real issue is big companies no longer caring about the consumer but their bottom line and profit. I usually purchase multiple products as I have a very bad ant problem in the spring. I no longer will buy this brand. No AI generated customer service response needed!!! You lost a repeat customer.

A BIG Fail.

A big Fail. Huge upcharge over regular baits for less bait and a tape backing that will not come apart to expose a sticky side. We actually had a contest in my house to see who could remove the backing first and not person in four could do it - and we tried! This product is poorly engineered and I really feel like I wasted our money. Who at Woodstream Brands is responsible for this debacle of this flop? Wow. A big NO.

The backing should peel away to expose the adhesive without excessive effort, so what you described is not the intended experience. In some cases, separating the layers can be tricky at first. Gently bending a corner or using a fingernail to lift the edge can help start the peel, but it shouldn’t require that much effort.

Adhesive backing was not only hard to peel off, but virtually unusable on account of it not being able to stick to anything. There are price tags on my produce that stick better than these things. Complete waste of money.

Guys just admit you have a shit product. The people have spoken. Its not "stubborn tape" or any other issue you claim can easily be resolved, it's just a poorly made crap sandwich of a product. I had the same issues as everyone else, not to mention the damn things never seem to work, despite having one in every corner of the house. I literally broke one open and mixed it with a touch of honey in a bottle cap which attracted more ants initially. Done this with both your liquid and solid bait stations, whereas I added honey and a few drops of apple juice to the solid ones. They came in droves and I haven't a single piss ant for a month straight now, whereas I may see one or two piddle dickin around the normal product all year long. Stop treating us like a bunch of dopes and just make a better product. Problem solved.

I really wish I would’ve read these reviews before I bought this product. It is absolutely impossible to remove the backing from the adhesive strip. I’ve been trying for an hour. If your intent was to frustrate your customers to the point that they never want to buy another of your products you have succeeded.

Instructions need to be rewritten

Product is no doubt fine but I don't know how it got released to market with instructions that are flat-out wrong. They say that only the printed side of the adhesive is removable, but actually you must remove both sides if you want to make it stick. I wasted a lot of time fruitlessly trying to make the non-printed side stick before realizing that, yes, you must also remove the covering from that side. You can see from other reviews here and from the Q&A that many other people have had the same problem.

To secure the bait station properly, both protective liners on the adhesive need to be removed so it can stick to the surface as intended. Once placed near active ant trails, the bait can be accessed by the ants and carried back to the colony.

Pure junk,,,,just bought this new style bait for the first time. Instructions say to remove printed portion of adhesive backing. The tiny piece of backing would not separate. Either product is old or it is crap adhesive. Why not just put a piece of double back adhesive tape in the box? Worthless product.

If the paper backing seems difficult to peel, one side can be more stubborn, but it will separate with a firm pull or by gently lifting an edge with a fingernail. Once removed, the adhesive should hold the bait in place when applied to a clean, dry surface.
Q&A
How on earth do the Multi-Surface adhesive strips work??? The instructions say only one paper side (the printed side) is removable, and I believe it! There is no way I could get the paper on the other side off! You need to have adhesive on BOTH sides of the strip, don't you???

The paper backing on the adhesive strip may appear tricky to peel off on one side, but please rest assured that it will come off with a bit of effort. The side with the printed lettering is the one that should face the wall or surface, while the other side remains adhered to the bait station.

Will these work for roaches. I love your regular ant traps and they work great, but can't find anything specific to roaches at Lowes or Menards.

My bait stations have a bait pack with a note on the back about the chemical ingredients plus a triangle pull spot. Is this to prepare for adhesive placement or do I use the 4 tabs each marked REMO ONE REMOVABLE THIS SIDE ONLY for adhesive placement? Thanks.

How does this work? I don't see any activity around the baits that I put up yet. Do they crawl in the tiny hole in the top to get the liquid? What happens then? Do they die there or somewhere else? Thank you.

Hi, thank you so much for your question! Yes, ants will crawl through the opening hole to take the bait. That’s how it works, and you should use the product for over two weeks to see results.
