I own several of these traps. I use them often. Can you please tell me the replacement bulb info so I can replace the lights that have burned out.
Thank you

If your light bulb has burned out, replacements can be found at many local retailers. For best results, it should be replaced with a 7 watt, 120 volt bulb, similar to what you would use in an electric candle.

I have purchased 6 separate Terro Flea Traps and not a single one has worked for longer than 2 nights. The bulbs will fail to illuminate when used with device but are still in working order when tested on a lamp or when directly connected to a power source. I am unable to find any troubleshooting direction online and every review I've discovered have come from bots, not actual customers.

How does the light stay in the hole? It doesn't appear to screw in, so the cord pulls on it and then the light is at an angle. This means that the bulb is now leaning on it's cover. What am I missing?

Thank you for your purchase! Below are the step-by-step instructions to help you assemble your flea trap properly:

Step 1: Extend the legs of the flea trap until the extension clicks into place.
Step 2: Carefully place the light socket into the hole at the top of the trap canopy.
Step 3: Secure the socket in place using the threaded bulb protector provided. Please do not overtighten.
Step 4: Gently insert the bulb provided.
Step 5: Clip the included light bulb cage into place around the bulb assembly.

Is there a way to replace the bulb assembly? My son stepped on the trap and now it’s not working. Don’t want to replace whole thing if not needed.
Question by: Ryan on May 25, 2025, 12:25 PM
The replacement bulbs or bulb assemblies are not available for this product.

Please clarify: Can standard 7W "nightlight" bulb be used to replace a burnt-out Terro flea trap bulb? if so, ALSO: frosted works same as clear?

Thank you very much for contacting us. It is our pleasure to assist you.
Please use a 7-watt, 120-volt incandescent bulb—similar to those used in electric candles.

I have the same question as Nancy, on April 26th.
I see the instructions you provided, & those appear to be the same as the instructions that come in the box.

The problem is with step 3. The black part, does not screw in to the white part, & there are no other parts included, to hold it in place.

Please help, I don't want the light bulb to easily fall out.
Question by: Becky on Dec 31, 2025, 1:55 PM
When placing the bulb, you must secure the socket using the threaded bulb protector provided, which is already connected to the cord. Please unscrew this threaded piece first, insert the bulb into the socket, and then screw the bulb protector back into place to hold the bulb securely. This will prevent the bulb from loosening or falling out during use.
