How to Use

TERRO® Spider Killer Spray comes in a ready-to-use aerosol spray can. For indoor use, point and spray in any non-food areas where the pests crawl and hide, including around doors and windows, behind appliances, the underside of shelves, and other similar areas. Spray the spiders directly for best results. For outdoor use, point the spray nozzle away from your face, holding the can on a slight downward angle. For best results, spray when the air is calm. Spray infested areas such as the surface of patios or picnic areas.

Spider Facts

Spiders are the largest order of arachnids, containing between 40,000 to 50,000 known spider species. Your home could be tidy and clean, but this doesn’t matter to these unwanted visitors. They love to live under sinks and cabinets, closets, entryways, and much more. Most spiders are harmless, but there are “The Big Three” venomous spiders that live in the U.S., that you want to avoid. They include the brown recluse, black widow, and hobo spider.

I am finding spiders every now and then in my kitchen sink - on the garbage disposal side. (There are dual sinks.) Can you explain why this is happening and how to eliminate them? They seem to appear more often after running the disposal.
Question by: Betsy on Aug 4, 2017, 8:00 PM
We apologize, however, we do not have information on why spiders may be appearing after the garbage disposal is run.   This product is recommended to be sprayed in cracks and crevices and non-food prep areas. It can be sprayed around and under sinks, but do not recommend using the product inside a sink.

Is this product safe to spray on plants? We have some plants we bring indoors in the winter and ants end up being inside the pots. I want to spray the dirt where the ants are roaming, but don’t want to kill my plants. Thanks
Question by: Andrea on Feb 17, 2019, 7:00 PM

After the spray has dried, should it be cleaned off? We sprayed a spider on the carpet, so I'm worried it won't be safe for the kids and pet to be around. What should be done?
Question by: Linda on Aug 22, 2017, 8:00 PM
This product can be applied as a general surface, spot or crack & crevice treatment to a variety of areas in the home that are listed on the label. This product is not specifically labelled for use on carpets. We recommend that adults, children, and pets be kept out of the treated area until the product has dried.
