How long does the Multi-Surface Liquid Ant Baits work? 2 months, 3 months? Thanks.
Question by: Steven Brown on Oct 20, 2024, 12:35 PM
The bait continues to work as long as it is in liquid form. That will vary widely depending on the environment in your home, as well as how much bait the ants are eating.

You can remove the tab by twisting or cutting it with scissors. The multi-surface design provides flexibility with placement options, including on walls, kick plates, and countertops or being able to lay it flat.

Is it safe to put Terro Multi-Surface Liquid Ant Baits near food in a pantry? Or is their another Terro product you would recommend?
Question by: Rick on Jan 3, 2025, 4:01 PM
Hi, as long as it doesn't have direct contact with food, it's OK. Use bait stations along baseboard, under cabinets, on windowsills and wherever ants are numerous.

The ants are collecting on my new white painted kitchen cabinets and ceiling trim. Is the adhesive on the multipurpose bait packets easy to remove without damaging the finish on these areas? I placed the liquid bait traps on the floors, counters, and in some cabinets last evening, but I can see two clusters of ants on the ceiling trim this morning so I am thinking if I should purchase the white multipurpose traps closer to where the ants are clustered.

Thank you for your question!
Yes, the adhesive from the Multi-Surface can be easily removed without damaging the finish of the applied areas. You can also use warm water and a cloth, gently pressing to remove the adhesive.
Additionally, with the Liquid Ant Bait, an individual ant will die within 48 hours, and it can take between 4 days and 2 weeks to eliminate a colony, depending on its size. You may also use the Multi-Surface and place it closer to the areas where ants are present for better effectiveness.
If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out to us!

How on earth do the Multi-Surface adhesive strips work??? The instructions say only one paper side (the printed side) is removable, and I believe it! There is no way I could get the paper on the other side off! You need to have adhesive on BOTH sides of the strip, don't you???
Question by: frank ross on Mar 31, 2025, 5:22 PM
Thank you for reaching out with your question! The adhesive strips are designed to keep the baits securely in place on walls, floors, and under cabinets. The paper backing on the adhesive strip may appear tricky to peel off on one side, but please rest assured that it will come off with a bit of effort. The side with the printed lettering is the one that should face the wall or surface, while the other side remains adhered to the bait station.

How do I get the adhesive off my wall (in this case, painted plywood)? Warm water and a cloth, Goof-off, acetone, razor blade scraper, rubbing alcohol - all no. It's been up there at least a year, maybe two.
Question by: Gordon Rencher on Apr 1, 2025, 7:38 PM
To remove the adhesive from your painted plywood, please try the following method:
Oil Method: Apply a small amount of vegetable oil, olive oil, or baby oil to the adhesive. Let it sit for a few minutes, then rub away with a soft cloth.
