Instructions say do not use a tool to put the bait stake in the ground. But the ground is hard and stake cannot be pushed in over an inch (sticks up too far and will get knocked away.) Is it really bad to dig a few inches with a screwdriver etc then place the stake? Or how do you recommend getting it down into hard ground?
Question by: Wayne on Jan 25, 2025, 11:18 AM
Hi Wayne, you can use water to make the soil soften, we don't recommend the use of tools because it would leave the soil loose and the product may fall and spill.

For a large infestation area how far apart should multiple stakes be?
Question by: Bill Rice on Apr 27, 2025, 12:04 PM
Thank you very much for contacting us. It would be our pleasure to assist you.
For a large infestation area, it is best to place TERRO® Liquid Ant Bait Stakes close to where ants are entering your home or where you see ant nests or trails. The more bait placements, the better the results. Be sure to leave the bait undisturbed while ants are actively feeding, and replace the baits every 3 months once ants are controlled to prevent them from returning.
