Description

Product Description:

Arm yourself against ants and other unwanted insects with this convenient, 16 oz aerosol spray. With dual protection, TERRO® Ant Killer Spray provides fast killing action and keeps on killing for up to 6 weeks.

Indoor Use

Apply TERRO® Ant Killer Spray as a general surface, spot, or crack and crevice treatment to all non-food areas where ants and other pests crawl and hide. Stopping insects before they enter is key, so pay extra attention to potential entry points!

To control ants: Spray on trails, nests and points of entry. Use TERRO® Ant Killer Spray directly on ants when possible and repeat treatment if re-infestation occurs.

To control cockroaches, silverfish, crickets, scorpions, spiders, and Asian lady beetles: Spray into hiding places such as cracks and crevices, behind sinks, cabinets, along baseboards and floors, around drains and plumbing, hitting insects with spray whenever possible. Repeat treatment if re-infestation occurs.

Outdoor Use

Use TERRO® Ant Killer Spray to control ants, crawling insects, cockroaches, crickets and spiders. When spraying, point the spray nozzle away from your face, holding the can on a slight downward angle. For best results, spray when the air is calm. Spray ants directly where possible.

    AMAZING! By Keith

Yea, this stuff is the best. My family moved into an old farm house that was built in 1910. Plenty of time for ants to build nests in walls and under the house. We tried EVERYTHING. I heard terro was the best from a pest guy, and bought the liquid ant traps. They certainly drew in ants, but I think the size of the infestation made no difference if a few colonies got wiped out. Ants were everywhere. On my computer desk, bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom...everywhere. Its not like we are slobs either. These ants were seeking warm electronics, and cook books that may have had drips of residue from messy recipes, water sources, and just randomly showing up. Ant motels didn't work. Perimeter granules didn't work. Clove and cinnamon hippy mixtures didn't work. It got to the point where everything went into ziplock bags and we just expected to have to kill hundreds of ants on countertops every morning. Nothing was safe to even set down. The final straw was when I was on the couch and felt ants crawling up my arm. I got the heebies and decided to go mow the lawn. While weed whacking, I stepped in an ant hill and had ants crawling up my leg. I snapped. Drove to a mom and pop hardware store where they had this spray. I sprayed the problem areas and to my amazement the next morning, no ants. I've gone through and kept spraying new areas where they inevitably pop up. After about a week of that, there are no ants. I am so satisfied with this product.

    Good product By Phyllis

had purchased Terro ant spray before and satisfied with product. Purchased more online, as could not locate spray in stores. It works very well in my opinion and have frequently recommended to family/friends. The only thing the spray did not/could not do was eradicate ant hills in the yard...after several spray treatments, we ended up purchasing and using Terro granuals to get rid of the enormous ant hills in our yard instead and that's taken care of the ant hills.

    Terro evaluation By DBooker4314
I rated the Terro good because it works so well, at least I think it does. The container that we received had no instructions on what we should do to make it work, by detaching the the blue tab. Had to phone in for instructions as to what to do. Should make it easier to understand.

Do not spray directly onto insects By MonicaPrz

I'm pretty surprised no one in the reviews mentions any negatives. While this product is great for spraying edges, it doesn't prove so when spraying directly onto insects/ ants or crevices. Its aerosol can has so much pressure or air that when you spray it, it sends the bugs flying. You literally need to get up close enough to whatever you are spraying as it does not come out in a stream like other brands. This can also be a problem if you're spraying crevices as it does not get directly into cracks; spraying only the outside as the high amount of pressure sends the product into the air. This was no defected can as I bought 2 and both sprayed the same. Negatives aside, it does work up to several weeks.

This spray is no joke. By Barry
I sprayed all the floors in my house with this spray. The next day, almost all the ants were gone. The few ants left are on their way to death. If you follow one of the ants around after he's walked on the sprayed areas, you'll see him die in front of you within 5 minutes. This is after the spray has dried, of course. If they walk on the stuff when it's still wet, they die on contact. I had a really bad ant problem that was making me livid everyday. 5 days after I used this spray, I haven't seen one ant.

This spray is the best on the market By Latty
I have used this spray to control the pavement ants that come in thru the cracks indoors and it works everytime. One time I had a big oribweaver spider in my window behind the screen. I sprayed it with one squirt and it kicked 3 times then fell to the bottom of the window. It was dead instantly. I also found a ant colony outdoors under my trash can and I just sprayed a light mist over them and they all died once again instantly. This spray is amazing. The liquid bait work really well to but they take 2 to 3 weeks to get rid of the colony. But once there gone they don't come back. Thank you for making something that really works.

Terrible nozzle--miss old nozzle with long tube By DeleneSC

I have bought this product many times before, with the old fashioned "paint can" type nozzle. It also included a tiny 1/8 in. tube about 6 in. long that you insert in the nozzle for super precision so you don't get poison all over the place. This new button can clogged the first time. I shook the can as instructed. I did move the large button to the "on" position. It's terrible and I'm taking it back. Terro, bring can you PLEASE bring back the old style? Other customers, do you agree? Not buying again.

    great stuff By jpmom
I don't normally use sprays because they never seem to be as effective as the liquid bait, but we found this to be very impressive. With one spray it took care of all the little guys the were visiting my pantry. The only thing I would change is the spray pattern, as it sort of goes out in a circle and kind of gets on everything. If you had an option for a more narrow stream in tight quarters that would be very effective.

Best in Insect Killers! By poleymom
I ordered Terro Liquid Drops after my friend saw the ant invasion I was having in my master bedroom window. She couldn't remember the exact name of the drops but knew it began with the letter "T". I searched the internet and found Terro Liquid Ant Killer very quickly. Read their website and ordered it immediately. Within a few days I received my purchase and following the instructions I put a drop or two of the liquid on cardboard pieces and set them in my bedroom window. The next day all the ants were dead and I haven't seen any since. Greatest Product EVER!!!

    Q&A
Q.I am wondering how effective this spray, Terro Ant Killer Spray, is against fleas. Specifically, I know I may have human fleas infesting my home, based on the specimens caught in non-baited glue traps that were given to me by my local county vector control agency, which were then examined in their laboratory. The agency's reporting back to me by email was how I found out I had human fleas in my home.
    A.

This product can be used to control ants, spiders, Asian lady bird beetles, black widow spiders, cockroaches, crickets, scorpions and silverfish. It has not been tested for fleas.

Q.Is this product safe around dogs?
    A.

We recommend keeping adults, children, and pets out of the treated area until the spray has dried. Also ensure that they are not able to come in contact with the product directly or through drift when applying.

Q.If this only kills on contact why does it say it continues to kill for up to 6 weeks? Can I not spray a crack and be ensured ants will not come through for 6 weeks?
    A.

This product has a residual effect that will last up to 6 weeks. If an ant were to crawl through the crack, they would come in contact with the product which will work against then and cause them to expire.

    All About

    Ants

There are more than 10,000 known species of ants living throughout the world. Like other insects, they have six legs; each with three joints. Ants have large heads with compound eyes, elbowed antennae and powerful jaws. Ants are social insects that live in structured nest communities throughout the world. The species of ant determines whether they live underground, in mounds built at ground level, in wood structures or in plants or trees.

    More About Ants

    FAQs

Why are ants always invading my kitchen, bathroom and laundry areas?

Ants are attracted to food, water and shelter. Kitchens, bathrooms and laundry rooms provide at least two of these conditions, making it an ideal haven for ants to congregate.

I need to knock out an ant invasion quickly – what do you recommend?

We suggest using TERRO® Ant Killer Spray or TERRO® Outdoor Ant Spray - both products kill on contact and will continue killing for 6-12 weeks. And better yet, these sprays are also effective against cockroaches, spiders, crickets, scorpions and other unwanted insects.
