Weather-resistant TERRO® Perimeter Ant Bait Plus granules kill ants – including carpenter ants. Our ant bait granules also eliminate cockroaches, crickets, earwigs, silverfish, slugs and snails.
How Lawn Ant Control Works
Outdoor ant problems are an annoyance, but they can also lead to indoor ant problems as ants travel in search of food. TERRO® Perimeter Ant Bait Plus is designed to kill ants and other pests outdoors, keeping an indoor invasion at bay.
Ants are drawn to the sweet ingredients in TERRO® Perimeter Ant Bait.
While the active ingredient will ultimately kill the worker ant, it works slowly enough that the worker has time to get back and share the bait with the colony. A slow kill is needed to allow time for the foraging ants to make several trips to the bait and deliver enough of it to the colony.
TERRO® Perimeter Ant Bait Plus granules are packaged in a 2 lb shaker bottle, making it easy to spread the granules around the perimeter - eliminating the need to use a chemical spreader. The granules are weather-resistant.

Review RateAnt population greatly reduced
After about 10 days, the ant population I observed around my house was greatly reduced.
Review RateTook a little longer, but the ants are gone
I placed the Perimeter Product around my house as directed, and re-did the placement around the edging of my driveway and other structures a total of 3x in 7 days. At first the ants appeared to travel over it without noticing it, but after 7-10 days, they seemed to disappear both from outside and inside our house. We have had unusually large amounts of rain this summer in Eastern North Carolina, which had increased the Ant activity in and around our home. It took a little longer than expected, but the ants are now gone.

has helped a lot, were seeing about 6 to 10 per night now see one every few days big improvement.
Review RateJury is still out
I have gone through multiple containers but it appears that many ants still continue to walk freely over the product. I think it has certainly helped my problem around the lawn/house but not yet convinced it has solved it. I will continue to pour more product and evaluate over next several weeks. I do like the Terro products though and use their indoor bait traps which are great.

I have had good luck with the liquid bait, but ants seem to ignore the granular . Hope they get hungry before they take over my homeResponse From Terro®Jennifer : Consumer Relations Representative
This product is a bait and is very similar to our TERRO® liquid. If the ants are not attracted to this bait, they are more than likely in a breeding phase of life. A contact killer such as the TERRO® Ant Killer Plus (Model T901-6) or the TERRO® Outdoor Ant Killer Spray (Model T1700-6) would work best in this instance.

Review RateNot cool
I Was expecting a lot more. Using almost a month now and i still have ants. Used as instructions stated but still they crawl. Please adviseResponse From Terro®Patty : Consumer Relations Representative
We apologize for this experience and would like the opportunity to learn more.
When multiple colonies are present, a bait will attract additional ants to kill. A contact killer may provide the solution for the situation. Please contact our Consumer Relations Team at 1-800-800-1819 x 458 for additional assistance.

After a everyday (dought conditions) winter and springs soon as the rains cametheants - all sizes and colors- came out of hiding. Nothing worked to kill them or send them packing. Terro Perimeter Ant Bait Plus seems to be having success. We are pleased.
- All About
There are more than 10,000 known species of ants living throughout the world. Like other insects, they have six legs; each with three joints. Ants have large heads with compound eyes, elbowed antennae, and powerful jaws. Ants are social insects that live in structured nest communities throughout the world. The species of ant determines whether they live underground, in mounds built at ground level, in wood structures or in plants or trees.
I love your Outdoor Liquid Ant Bait but I also have other insects invading my. Do you have a product that will get rid of more than just ants?
We do! We recommend using TERRO® Perimeter Ant Bait Plus to battle multiple outdoor pest invasions. Long lasting and weather resistant, the ant bait granules not only kill entire colonies of outdoor ants – including carpenter ants - it also is effective against cockroaches, crickets, earwigs, silver fish, slugs and snails.
The ants consume the bait and transport the food back to the colony and share it - that’s how entire colonies are eradicated. Within a few days, you will see significantly fewer ants and insects in your yard.
