Leopard Slug

The leopard slug is one of the most common pest slugs in North America and is found in most areas with even moderate moisture or humidity. These pests aren’t native to the continent though – they arrived here from Europe.

Identify these slugs by their leopard-like spots on a yellowish to brown body that’s about 4 inches long. Leopard slugs, like most slugs, can decimate a garden or flowerbed in a relatively short time, so it’s important to get them under control as soon as possible.
