SDS (Safety Data Sheet) Information

As of June 1, 2015, Safety Data Sheet and product labeling criteria have been updated by the Occupational Safety & Health Organization (OSHA) to be aligned with the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS). These changes apply to workplace chemicals (i.e. chemicals used in a workplace setting) and therefore many consumer products are outside the scope of OSHA’s jurisdiction. For example, while Woodstream pesticide SDS will display the hazard classification criteria under GHS, Woodstream pesticide labeling is regulated by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and will not reflect the hazard labeling and other information found on SDS. Pesticide products are required to follow the guidance and requirements established by EPA and are exempt from GHS requirements at this time. Please note that if you are looking for First Aid guidance on any pesticide product, first read the product’s label to find information specific to your needs.
